Cooking your Chips with Mellow Yellow Rapeseed oil in the Air fryer makes them crispy, delicious and low fat. With air frying, oil is necessary for crisping and flavour but during cooking any excess oil is blown off the food to below the crisper plate therefore less is absorbed than in traditional oven cooking.

(for a 5.2l air fryer)
5 small/medium Potatoes (any suitable chipping variety, peeled and cut into equal sized chips)
2 tablespoons Mellow Yellow Rapeseed Oil
Wash the chipped potatoes thoroughly (to remove the excess starch) and pat dry with kitchen roll.
Place in a bowl and drizzle with Mellow Yellow Rapeseed Oil and season with a little salt.
Toss the potatoes around with your hands to lightly coat all surfaces of the chips with the oil.
Air fry on 190°C for around 25 minutes, turning several times during cooking, until evenly cooked and golden brown. Enjoy!
