Potato Peel Crisps


We’re always careful to keep food waste as minimal as possible, and this recipe for Potato Peel Crisps is a great way to use the entire potato. Potato peelings are often thrown straight into the compost, but they’re absolutely packed with vitamins & nutrients, which we all need to get plenty of. So, don’t waste your peelings, instead turn them into delicious crisps! A super simple recipe, make sure you’ve washed your potatoes before you peel them and try to keep your peelings as uniform as possible. Straight after peeling, get these made and straight in the oven and enjoy!

Ingredients

Potato peelings (from washed potatoes)
Mellow Yellow Rapeseed Oil
Salt

Method

Spread your potato peelings out on a baking tray. Drizzle with Mellow Yellow Rapeseed Oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt or any other dried herbs or spices that you fancy.
Cook in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

This recipe could be used for carrot or parsnip peelings too!
