Smoked Hummus Recipe


This smoked hummus recipe is full of deep, rich flavour thanks to our Oak Smoked Rapeseed Oil. Perfect for dipping with tortillas, crudités or breadsticks, this makes a fantastic snack or light lunch. The addition of a smoky flavour makes this super moreish, we couldn’t help but keep going back for more! Simply pop all the ingredients in a food processor, blitz until smooth and there you go, a simple, tasty, homemade dip!

Ingredients

400g can of chickpeas
2 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp Mellow Yellow Rapeseed Oak Smoked Rapeseed Oil
Juice of 1 lemon
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cumin

Method

Drain and rinse the chickpeas, peel the garlic cloves and juice the lemon. Pop all ingredients into a food processor, including the oak smoked rapeseed oil, salt and cumin. Decant into a serving bowl and serve with tortilla, flat breads, pittas or crudités.
