Sales Executive – Northamptonshire.

 

Exciting opportunity to join the UK’s brand leading Rapeseed oil producer.

Salary up to £26,000, subject to experience, plus pension. 28 days holiday inc Bank Holidays (increases after 2 year’s service). Full-time or Part-time pro-rata. Office based initially with the possibility of moving to hybrid working.

We are a successful, certified carbon and plastic neutral, food manufacturing family business producing high quality culinary oil and salad dressings, available nationally across major and independent retailers, in food service and wholesale, under the brand Farrington’s Mellow Yellow. We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team in order to further build on our success and promote the brand.

 

The Role

This position reports directly to the National Account Manager and working alongside the Marketing Co-Ordinator.

 

A proactive role managing and developing good relationships with independent retail, food service, existing and new wholesale customers, with a view to increasing sales. Including reporting on accounts and account management of customers through spreadsheets and in-house database system. Organising and managing attendance at trade food shows, customer tastings and attending consumer shows.

 

 

The Person

We are looking for an aspiring candidate with strong interpersonal and administrative skills, plus strong instinctive commercial acumen, who can be flexible with their time, as occasional out of hours work will be required. A team player, ready to learn, with a great hands-on approach in our small team.

 

Candidates meeting the following criteria will have a distinct advantage:

 

– Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven.

– Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

– Can demonstrate a keen interest in the food industry

– Ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels

– Good attention to detail

– IT proficient, and confident in the use of MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database systems

– Excellent planning and time management skills

– A full UK Driving license is essential
