BBQ Asparagus

Beautiful British Asparagus served with our mayonnaise

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bunch of Asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon of MELLOW YELLOW
  • Sea salt and freshly milled black pepper
  • To serve, MELLOW YELLOW mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat the BBQ (if the weather permits), or a frying pan (if not!).

Wash the Asparagus and break the bottoms off as near to the woody part as will snap. The woody part itself will not snap, so this ensures that you have got rid of the stringy bit without sacrificing any of the good stuff.

Dry and place the spear on a plate, drizzle on the MELLOW YELLOW, sprinkle salt and pepper, then gently rub to fully coat.

Place on the hot BBQ or in the hot frying pan to sear and turn until browning and slightly tender - usually only a few minutes.

Serve with a lovely dollop of MELLOW YELLOW Mayonnaise.

Truly British and truly delicious!
