Duncan Farrington is a founding member of new trade organisation

NEODA is an existing organisation representing the wider edible oils industry, in which they will be setting up a sub-committee to represent the needs of their specific area. As of yet a name for the organisation still needs finalising, but Duncan has already been elected Joint Vice Chairman, and  the group are looking at issues such as quality control for cold pressed producers, legal requirements, and joint marketing to help grow the whole sector in this young and exiting area of the quality edible oils industry.

“We have been discussing the idea of joining a trade organisation for some time among fellow producers, and I am delighted to be involved with NEODA to increase the awareness of what we are doing jointly in the new British cold pressed oils sector” says Duncan. “We are a young industry in Britain, and by working together with the other leading producers, we can ensure success for all of us.”
